Convenient Location, But Well Below Expectations

We enjoyed every moment! The tent was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our visit amazing:) A beautiful setting and very well maintained grounds. We got to enjoy breakfast on the deck with the Wallabies. Perfect experience to add to the Island.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however, at this price point, there were simply too many issues. The property was extremely dirty, every piece of kitchenware, cutlery, and glassware had to be washed before use. We tried contacting the property the day before our arrival to ask about food options but never received a call back. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work during our stay. On a positive note, the complimentary bottle of wine was a thoughtful gesture. That said, the property would benefit from providing robes, especially considering the outdoor bath and sauna. We were also surprised by the lack of privacy, from our balcony, we could clearly see into two other properties, and they could just as easily see us on the deck.

Great accommodation with a homely feel. Very comfortable with everything you need for self contained accommodation including a well equipped kitchen. A warm welcome greeting on site by Kevin for easy check in and providing info about the property and tips on getting around Kangaroo Island, sites and dinner suggestions. Loved our stay and will be back for another visit.
